Luxury French Stone Country House

We loved staying at La Thiangerie, the house is setting in the most idyllic setting looking out over the vineyards and forest. The house is immaculate, clean and spacious. When we first arrived we were delighted to find some of the estates wine, milk, butter, oil and herbs/spices supplied. Krystal and Peter looked after us so well, with friendly advice, they really care that you have a memorable stay with lots of recommendations. The area is pretty rural, so you definitely need a car, but that is part of its charm. Our favourite local market was on the Saturday morning in Sainte - Foy - La - Grande just 15 minutes drive away. The outdoor space was wonderful to relax in, with a large table for alfresco dining, some obscenely comfy outdoor furnishings. Then in the cooler evenings (October) we enjoyed the wood burning stove and lounging area upstairs. It was quite frankly glorious!Thanks to Krystal, Peter and Nora for having us.

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The chateau in Pellegrue was stunning, with hotel-like amenities and a spectacular vineyard view from the backyard. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. Nora and Peter were incredible hosts and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous Country House<br>#128578; This Country House has everything you may desire: beautiful scenery, fantastic high end finishing, quiet, good bedding, bathrooms excellent, swimming pool with a view, nothing has escaped from the care of the welcoming hosts. Centrally located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, was has easy access in all directions to all major places to visit in the wide region. We in particular cycled, despite some less sunny periods, enough to feel fit and discover at the same time. Definitely a place to return ...

This was our second time staying at Nora, Krystal and Peter’s beautiful house…. and I hope it will be the second of many! From the minute you arrive you feel utterly at home, relaxed and peaceful in this meticulously clean and beautifully designed home that has everything you might need or want - Nora and Krystal have thought of everything! The terrace and pool are an absolute dream and the views over the corn rows of vines are stunning. We were made to feel so welcome and at ease and Nora was a second away if we had any questions or needed any help. Thank you Nora, Krystal and Peter xxxx

Second visit to Viaud and booked again next year. A very lovely property, well equipped with lovely views across the vineyards. Just a lovely, quiet relaxing holiday chilling out around, and in, the pool. Nora, Krystel and Peter are great hosts and live very close by if required. We just love it, but probably not for you if you like all the bright lights and bars of a busy area, Viaud is very peaceful and quiet and all the more beautiful for it.
