Luxury villa with private pool in south of France

What a wonderful house, a lovely quiet place to come back to and relax after a day exploring all the region has to offer. Barry is such a good host, easy to communicate with and he genuinely wants to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you need. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week in Saint Laurent de la Cabrerisse and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest after our days of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, which made our stay even more convenient. The space was more than adequate for four adults, providing plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. The local Spar was a pleasant surprise—friendly service and very convenient for picking up essentials. We were also delighted to find a great restaurant just minutes from the door, which served delicious meals. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering a wonderful natural swimming spot on the Nielle River, just a short walk from the property. It was the perfect place to cool off and enjoy some peaceful time in nature. Our one disappointment was that the café/bar in the village was closed and up for sale, which meant we had to venture a bit further for a casual drink or coffee. However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise perfect stay. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located property in this charming village. We look forward to returning in the future!

This is a great property, well maintained, spotless and a really well equipped kitchen. Spacious bathrooms and bedrooms and a great outdoor area. Good sized pool. Fantastic location in picturesque village with bakery, restaurants, grocery store and children’s play area within walking distance. Great place for mountain hikes and also wild river swimming and star gazing . Owner’s was really helpful and his local knowledge enhanced our stay.

The house is in a quiet gated community surrounded by lavendar and rosemary. It is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay; for teenagers this included wifi and Netflix! The swimming pool is a nice size in a well kept garden, with ample seating and a BBQ. Barry is a great host and keen for his guests to enjoy their stay. He provided lots of useful information about the area and best places to eat etc. The village itself is very pretty, typically French with lots of amenities. The people were so welcoming and friendly. It is in an idyllic location surrounded by beautiful countryside and endless vineyards. I really could not fault the house and we all had a wonderful it was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend.
