Lyon Confluence - duplex au calme avec parking privé en option - One-Bedroom Apartment

Very comfortable modern apartment in...<br>#128578; The keys and code were all arranged and communicated in advance on Booking and on WhatsApp/text on our arrival. Our only minor problem was locating the post/lockbox initially, which was probably a minor language issue in the specifics of the box location, though we were happy to get instructions in English. We stayed at this property for 3 days in mid August. Communication was good, the property was clean and the location pretty good, a 10-15 minute walk to old Lyon and downtown and 5 minutes to the Confluence but that is where the positives ended. The property claims to have A/C but you cannot turn it on as I tried. The owner claims that the water system would go through too much water, so from an environmental perspective it is not wise but in my opinion it is simply a cost issue. Each evening upon returning home it was 25-26 C in the apartment. We were told to open the windows to cool the temperature. The INSANE thing is there are no screens in the windows, so all sorts of insects could fly in, the worst being mosquitoes!!! Can you imagine trying to sleep in a hot room with mosquitoes buzzing around your head. Needlesss to say we had 3 sleepless nights and many, many, many mosquito bites. Furthermore, the bedroom is a loft with a tiny shower and sink. The toilet is on the first floor and is basically in a closet with a motion detector light which goes off and on when you don’t want it to. It is terrible to go down and up 16 steps in the middle of the night to go to the toilet. The apartment does have parking but it is in another building about 150-300 meters away and is vey inconvenient to access your car and unload/load luggage. Lastly there was no hand soap, no complimentary water and only 4 coffee pods for 2 people for 3 days. It does not add up. This is certainly a location about profitability. In the end DO NOT stay here during warm or hot weather or if you dislike going up and down stairs during sleep to go to the toilet.

Es ist ein zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Appartment in einer modernen Wohngegend. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Altstadt und die Basilika sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.
