Magnificent 18th Century, 5 Star Luxury Spa

😊: This property was the perfect venue for our large family to take a break. An oasis in a rustic rural location. Lots of room to accommodate a big family like ours with grandkids included. Everyone loved it. The pool, sauna and hot tub facilities were great. After a day exploring the local area we could chill out in the spa and enjoy drinks on the terrace. Amazing countryside location. The lake was teaming with fish. Watch out for the pike. Our bird app, merlin, registered 26 species of bird life. Some quite rare. We were lucky that the trees were bearing fruits. Oh and the local cider museum was 5 mins cycle ride away, and was fascinating. The cider was great too. The nearby villages were beautiful. Local bakers in Cauce produce the best ever croissants. The town of Lassey les chateaux had everything from supermarket to the the chateaux itself. Within approx 90 mins you have the stunning towns of Caen or St Malo. Steeped in history. Fabulous restaurants. Seafood heaven. We also made a visit to mont St Michel. Whilst we hit the summer peak regards numbers of tourists, it was stunning. Well worth the trip.. 😢: Probably worth noting that in August some of the local businesses take a holiday. Just meant that we ventured a little further for restaurants etc.
