Magnificent Charentais Villa with Pool & Garden

😊: We were met by the charming Lucas, who explained the property's facilities. The property was set back from the road, but not isolated, so it felt secure yet private. It was gated and had ample parking for at least three cars. Each room was comfortable and neutrally and nicely decorated. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I wish we had booked it for longer and would definitely consider the property again.. 😢: The only thing I didn't like was that the bed linen was not 100 percent cotton/natural, which made sleeping in night temperatures in the high 30s degrees Celcius even more uncomfortable, despite having fans on full blast. Also, I would have preferred a flame barbecue (gas/coals) instead of an electric hot plate..

We had to wait an hour to get into property, communication was terrible we had to continuously ask for details as to how to get in etc Even though this property was charging 5 star rates we did not get 5 star treatment. The beds were not made the house was dusty and smelt damp and then they charged us for not cleaning ing the horse. What a joke. I will never use this property again. This was the first time using VRBO and we will not use it again

The property is lovely, spacious and well equipped. Its in a quiet, peaceful area, but in easy driving to Surgeres, La Rochelle and Rochefort. The pool is brilliant and all three generations thoroughly enjoyed it, along with outdoor space and eating areas. Highly recommended.
