Magnificent single-storey house. Superb garden and private pool (sleeps 6)

Lovely house in a great location, easy walking into the village. Pool is lovely and the air conditioning was a bonus when the weather was too hot. Friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you for a great holiday.

This house is large and airy with great a/c which is very much needed with the heat. The kitchen is the center of the house which was well equipped with almost everything we needed. If you are traveling with very young children you will need to bring your own cutlery, plastic bowl, etc. However a highchair is supplied and travel cot. The bedrooms are a good size and airy. The beds were comfortable. The curtains are quite thin in the double bedrooms so if you have children sensitive to light it might be worth bringing a stick on black out blind ( gro blind) as the rooms get the evening sun. The bathroom was great, excellent shower and my kids enjoyed the big iron bath! The pool was also very enjoyable and was lovely to cool off in. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening but mossie spray is a must. This house is perfectly located to explore the local area, Carcassonne, black mountains and further surrounding area/ lower pryenees. It was in a very peaceful location but very close to the centre of the village where there is a bakery and small shop. Sara was very welcoming and friendly and was responsive to texts once I got her number via VRBO. I would ask for this once you've booked as it's easier to contact her this way then trying to go through VRBO. Overall we had a great week and would return!

Great location, lovely village with tasty boulangerie. Pictures did not do it justice, was even better in real life. Great communal spaces and outside areas.

An absolutely wonderful house in a lovely quiet village. The house is even more lovely than the photos show & wonderfully stocked with everything you need. Sarah is a wonderful & friendly host & it was a pleasure to meet her. We had the most relaxing 2 weeks and can’t wait to return! The area is stunning too and close to everything. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Spacious and well equipped holiday home. Sara was very welcoming and told us all we needed to know so we had a lovely relaxing holiday. Air conditioning was much appreciated with temperatures at 40 degrees! Area was quiet and peaceful. Sunbeds and pool were just what we needed.

On arrival we were met by a very friendly Sara, our host. The property was welcoming and although it looks old and rustic Sara explained that it had only been built five years ago. The property was clean with everything you could possibly wish for a pleasant stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property or returning again. Many thanks Gregor and Tracey

We had a fabulous stay in this property. It is secluded and quiet. It has walnut, fig and olive trees in the garden. Sara was excellent meeting us at the property and settling us in. The property is purpose built so no old quirks. The kitchen is huge and lovely to cook in. The living room is small and cosy and the bedrooms are nicely furnished. We stayed as a couple; this property really lends itself to a romantic break. It is also very central only 30 mins from Carcassonne so perfect for a group base. We would not hesitate to recommend.
