Magnifique 2p au coeur du vieux Nice

😊: Location of the property was amazing - right in the old town, close to beach, restaurants and transport. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. 😢: The stairs up to the property were very steep and the railing wasn’t very secure Another small thing was since the shower could not be attached to the wall, it was quite easy to flood the bathroom but nothing major.

😊: Nothing. 😢: All was either everything was broken or unusable, excet for the fridge.

😊: Very good location, so coziness and comfort house. 😢: Little bit uncomfortable was having to walk up the narrow stairs to the third floor, as well as the insufficient capacity of the water tank for 4 people.

😊: It may be for you if: - You want to have easy access to the Old Town and the beach: the apartment is located in the heart of the Vieux Nice and you will be able to reach the castle hill and Promenade des Anglais easily on foot. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area too. - You are on a budget and you are looking for a basic stay: the apartment is cheap and has everything you need for a short stay, including kitchenware and a hairdryer, and also air conditioning (which we didn't use). The beds were comfortable and we found the place to be sufficiently clean.. 😢: It may not be for you if: - You have limited mobility: the apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator and a very difficult staircase, especially for those who are physically impaired, or if you have heavy bags to carry. - You want to get a good night sleep: in front of the building there are several pubs, and the night life in general is very active. There were people shouting in the street ALL NIGHT LONG, for all the three days of our stay. If you are sleeping in the bedroom you might not mind too much, but I slept in the living room, and I could hear everything, as the windows' glass is paper thin. The shades also don't close, so it's very bright in the morning. - You want privacy when you go to the bathroom: there is a window between the bathroom and the kitchen that doesn't close all the way, so there is basically always a hole through which the two rooms communicate that cannot be shut. Also be aware that other people have access to the building. One morning we found drinking cups, cigarette butts and vomit inside the entrance of the building. Not sure if this was an unfortunate one-time incident, or if things like this happen often in this place..
