Magnifique appartement rénové proche de la Place Des Vosges

The apartment was as pictured. Charles was very communicative and helpful. The location was central and in a beautiful neighborhood. Would only recommend the second bedroom for small children as even they bumped their heads a few times getting in and out of the room. Overall, a very good experience!

The pros are that the host was very nice and very responsible and flexible! The location was fantastic. The cons are that the furniture pictured online did not match reality. Check in was difficult logistically. There was a strange smell in the bathroom and back children’s room area. The towels and sheets were old.

Excellent location in one of Paris’s most popular neighborhoods. Check in was easy. The elevator was absolutely necessary.

Lovely area and safe, quiet location. Clean and cute living area. Functional kitchen. Second ‘bedroom’ is not functional, we couldn’t even sit on the mattress without hitting our head. No opening window. Listing clearly indicated 2 toilets, but there is one and you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the 2nd bedroom, pretty challenging with two couples. Would be fine for children.

The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. Many restaurants and cafes close by. Also, several Metro stops were very close. Chris was an excellent host. When the washer and dryer stopped working, he immediately tried fixing it, without any luck. But then he went above and beyond and got our clothes washed and dried for us twice! Our two and a half week stay was very comfortable in this apartment. I would highly recommend this property!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was as advertised. Spacious enough for our family of 5 to be comfortable. The location in Le Marais was everything we could’ve hoped for—a lovely neighborhood surrounded by great restaurants and shops, and not overly touristy. Metro stops were conveniently located to get us wherever we wanted to go. Chris was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful four weeks in this very comfortable, bright, and well designed apartment. There were two days where temps were over 100F and on those days we appreciated having the air conditioning. All the other time we were there, we had a great cross-breeze when the front windows and the skylight in the back room were open. The view of the Paris rooftops is very nice. The apartment is clearly recently renovated, and the kitchen and bathroom are very modern and make great use of the space. Communication with Christophe was excellent. The check-in and check-out went very, very smoothly and couldn't have been easier. The location is really perfect. A short stroll in one direction brings you to Place des Vosges, in another direction to Rue de Bretagne, and in yet another direction to the heart of the Marais and then the banks of the Seine. There is a grocery store just one block down Rue Saint-Gilles, right across from a great Thai restaurant called Mai Thai. A few steps beyond that is a really great restaurant called Le Petit Marché. We also really enjoyed Le Petit Dakar which is less than a five minute walk from the apartment, and the great little Japanese restaurant Jiji Kitchen, which is just a few doors down from the apartment. We would happily stay here again on a future trip to Paris. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here.
