Magnifique chalet spacieux et confortable 13 personnes - connecté à Arcs 2000

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à villaroger Un hameau plein de charme Une maison avec une très belle âme, très Bien équipée pour nos deux familles , Les jeux de société nombreux et livres ont été appréciés par tous ! Accueil parfait ! Goûter des ânes chouette dans le hameau Retour à ski plus difficile en fin de semaine par manque de neige mais le télésiège est très proche en voiture et facile d’accès ! Nous espérons revenir à villaroger « ici c’est mieux qu’en face « !

Très bon séjour dans un très grand chalet confortable et décoré avec goût. Je recommande vivement, nous y reviendrons volontiers pour un prochain séjour.

We stayed three weeks in this lovely and very comfortable chalet in Le Planay for a hiking holiday. The house is located in a tiny, lovely village with stunning views, just a few steps away from some wonderful hiking paths and the national park. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Communicaton was easy and fast. The next supermarket (U-market) is 3o minutes away in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. But since the house has got two big fridges with a lot of space in the freezers for storing bred etc. this wasn't a problem at all. We highly recommend this place, especially for families, and would love to come back anytime.

We booked our stay from 6-12 April 2017. Please bear in mind that there are no shops near the chalet. The nearest is in Seez or Saint Bourg Maurice which is a good 20 minute drive from the chalet. The owner told us that the nearest lift is 200 metres away but it is 1km and you cannot walk from the chalet to the lift, you have to drive. Also at that time of year and maybe because it hasn't been the best season, you could go up to Les Arcs 2000 via three slow chair lifts which took 30 mins but it was impossible to ski back down. On top of that the chair lift shut two days after we arrived (because it was the end of the season) so our only alternative was to drive 25 mins down to Bourg Saint Maurice and take the Finnicular up into Arc 1600, which ran every 20mins. After the Finnicular you walk 200m to the nextchair lift. All in all I was not informed properly of the location and accessibility to the slopes by the owner and next time will stay elsewhere with better accessibility to the chair lifts. However the chalet is fantastic for 8-10 people sharing. It has all the facilities and comfort of a modern chalet.
