😊: Lots of space yet cosy, serene surroundings, comfortable beds..

😊: This is a nice home in a quiet and very isolated area. If you don’t have a car you will be totally lost. Up a barrow and winding road tonthenpropertyband not within walking distance of any facilities. While the overall cleanliness was OK there was a putrid and overwhelming smell coming up from the laundry below. The host was aware as there were bottles of lavender scent on every few steps down. But the biggest problem was the host. We called to ask if there was a vacancy for another 2 nights so we could extend via booking.com. He (Gregory) said don’t go through them go direct is much better for you. But his quote was e50 dearer. But the real problem was that after debiting our card the next day they did it again. So we were charged for 6 nights. Over the next 8 days it was consistently denied by Gregory that we hade been doubled charged. Eventually after we explained our Daughter in Paris was a Lawyer the second charge mysteriously disappeared. So our 5 days in this wonderful area of France was ruined by the constant exchange of texts and the worry of reclaiming our euro 800.. 😢: The smell, the evasiveness of the host,.
