Magnifique élégante maison de plage 3 à 30m de la mer, Noirmoutier, France

We spent the most fabulous week on holiday staying at Father Pancake, with our two daughters, their husbands and three young grandsons, aged three, seven and nine.We couldn’t have wished for a more lovely house to stay in. Beautifully decorated, light and airy, very spacious, with comfortable seating and dining area plus a wonderfully equipped large kitchen. The roof top terrace offered alfresco dining space with idyllic sea views. The inner courtyard was equipped with more seating and a BBQ. The beds were deliciously comfortable.Just a stones throw away, the safe sandy beach delighted our grandsons at low tide with rock-pooling and at high tide with swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. We hired bikes for a few days and explored Noirmoutier, which is predominately flat and has dedicated cycle ways through pine woodlands, salt marshes (great for bird spotters). We stopped along the way at oyster shacks where we sampled the fruits de mer.We couldn’t have wished for more beautiful accommodation and location for a perfect family holiday in France. Maison agréable, bien équipée et très bien situé e. La cuisine est top ! Le Vieil est un très beau village. Laura, la propriétaire de la maison est très disponible pour répondre à nos questions.

Beaches are 30 second walk and supermarket is maybe 1 minute. We’d stay her again.

maison de charme idéalement placée au centre du village. Grande avec de nombreuses chambres c'est une maison de famille meublée avec beaucoup de gout et simplicité. Les cours intérieures sont petites mais bien fleuries et très agréables. La maison est bien adaptée pour des adultes calmes qui éviteront de gêner les maisons voisines.

We had a lovely stay at Father Pancake. The owner was very kind and helpful. We also have a short term rental property so I know what it entails to be available and responsive. The location was amazing and the layout great for our 2 families staying together. The kitchen was well stocked and warm. Easy access to the beach and cute restaurants and grocery right near by. We hope to be back someday!
