Magnifique Péniche cosy et spacieuse à Toulouse

😊: Location was excellent lots of space in the apartment with everything you need for a pleasant stay.. 😢: Was not aware that it was a shared space, also the youngsters that booked for one night to have a massive party was not appreciated..

😊: Nothing. Due to unsafe environment, We had to urgently find another accommodation .. 😢: Private parking was included in price. On the day of check in, the owner advised that the parking was under construction( coincidentally.!!l ). And the visitors can park some distance away, at the their risk, from the location . Refused to honour “ free cancellation” . Rude. Dishonest..

😊: The location is very good, with an amazing view from the boat windows. Is a great experience to be in a boat seeing the water reflection. The space has everything that you need. Comfortable beds and living space. Kitchen fully equipped.. 😢: Above the ‘flat’ there are some hot tubes for other people to use. These hot tubes make noise and also you hear when people are walking and this can go until very late..

😊: The interior of the boat was lovely and spacious as shown in the photos. 😢: Our original booking was cancelled on the day of arrival by Booking.com and despite helpful communications from the owner we had problems rebooking and only got to stay on the boat 2 nights instead of 7! Once we arrived at the boat we found several problems. The first is that it’s not clear that there are 2 other cabins which are rented out via air b&b and these are allowed to use two lovely areas on the deck which have tables and chairs and hot tubs. The cabin we booked says on booking.com that it has a balcony/terrace and outdoor dining furniture. This turned out to be a covered area on the centre of the deck which had camping chairs and washing out and washing machines! Not a relaxing area for evening drinks as we had imagined. We complained and the owner said that the furniture had been broken and the washing took a long time to dry - he was sorry we were disappointed. It costs so little to get new furniture and takes no time at all! The washing could be tumble dried or taken away from the boat and the deck area could be made nice as it has been for the other cabins. The other big problem with this accomodation is noise. The other two cabins caused lots of noise - every time the people walked around on deck we could hear it loudly in our cabin. The noise of their hot tub woke us at 4.30am! They should have been given instructions about how hours of usage and we should have been told there are other cabins with hot tubs and warned of noise. The shower clearly has a blocked drain as it overflowed onto the floor. The hot plate was very temperamental to switch on and needs to be replaced as the touch button is obviously not working any more..
