Maine du Bost @ Monestier / Bergerac

We were a group of 7 adults and this property was perfect for us. Beautifully appointed, cool, light and airy with high quality fixtures and fittings and plenty of kitchen equipment for keen cooks to make best use of lovely local ingredients. Very comfortable superking beds in all bedrooms and 4 bath/shower rooms were ideal since we were a group of cyclists who certainly needed a shower after hot rides in the lovely countryside. Really good sized pool that got a lot of use, and it was superb to eat supper on the shady roofed patio. An even prettier setting than it looks online, and very extensive grounds. Good laundry facilities and plenty of room to store our bikes. Recomended without hesitation.

Calme et sérénité pour passer de beaux moments en famille. Maison avec des grands espaces et une piscine merveilleuse. A proximité immédiate de Bergerac et de Monbazillac.

A beautiful and superbly appointed property where we enjoyed a fantastic week. Pool, outside areas, lively kitchen and idyllic surroundings all contributed to a great stay. We had mixed weather but there is plenty to do and see in the area so we were entertained as well as enjoying relaxing at the house. Thank you very much.

The setting, the house, the decor, the swimming pool, the location - all were perfect. Each room had a luxurious en suite bathroom and all parts of the house were immaculate. Little details like all crockery and cutlery matching make all the difference (to me anyway), and even the decking by the pool, the shutters, cushions and stone work all follow a similar colour palette which really makes you feel SUPER relaxed. At 17 metres, the pool is ideal for swimming lengths , and the surrounding garden was a perfect for playing a little boules! The property is surrounded by vineyards and is a perfect distance to nearby attractions like Eyemet, Bergerac and Duras, not to mention the golf course just 10 minutes drive away. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat - it's just stunning!!!

My friends and family and I shared a wonderful three weeks at the Maine du Bost. The property was exactly as pictured and provided a perfect base for relaxation by the pool, BBQs on the terrace and cozy evenings with a glass of wine. Emanuelle and Dorothee were always on hand and answered any queries we had promptly, including providing lots of useful restaurant recommendations! Thank you for a fantastic stay in this beautiful property - we wouldn't hesitate to return again!

Superbe propriété aux prestations de qualité qui correspond exactement au descriptif ce qui appréciable. Le calme y est le mot d'ordre. L'accueil, la disponibilité, la réactivité d'Emmanuelle sont très agréables ! Très belle région.

Das Haus gehört zu den absolut besten Anmietungen, die wir in den letzten Jahren hatten. Ein absolut sauberes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche hat einen riesigen Kühlschrank in Gastronomie-Qualität, einen großen Induktionsherd und alle Utensilien, die man für ein Kochvergnügen braucht. Die Plancha auf der Terrasse bietet viele Möglichkeiten für leckere Speisen. Die Lage garantiert absolute Ruhe und Entspannung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Radfahrer können durch die Weinberge und kleinen Dörfer fahren. Läufer kommen bei den wenigen Autos auf der Straße auch auf ihre Kosten. Das Schwimmbad ist mit 26° perfekt auch bei bedecktem Himmel. Wir waren rundum sehr, sehr zufrieden.
