😊: An excellent location, practically in the city center. Most of the city's attractions are within easy walking distance. An added bonus is the garden with a barbecue area, as well as a garage spacious enough to fit a large car like ours.. 😢: You have to bear in mind that the house is old, and signs of age and neglect are visible in places. That didn't bother us—in fact, it added to the authenticity—though perhaps with the exception of certain smells. Overall, however, it’s a really great base for exploring not just Tours but the Loire Valley as well..

😊: Great location, close to public transport, town center, main attractions and many good restaurants. Responsive host and it was a nice touch with breakfast provision. We would have enjoyed staying in the property very much had it not been for a few problems with cleanliness and defects.. 😢: The property would benefit from better house keeping and maintenance. The floors were dirty, bedroom tables were not cleaned. In addition to the broken showerhead, the shower is tiny and flooded with water during shower, the lightshade filled up with water in the rain. Heating system is not able to turn on and off easily. Tiles coming off in the bath. Kitchen light didn't work..
