Maison à 100m de la mer

😊: Location was good for exploring D-Day museums and cemeteries (see photos) and also the Bayeux Tapestry. It was also just a few minutes walk from the seafront. House was well fitted out with quality appliances, including a Tassimo pod coffee machine. It had off road parking. Sitting out areas at the front and rear (the rear is a small patch of grass taken from the neighbour's garden and is not private - see photo). The Owner messaged to see if we had settled in OK - we were able to ask her about the blinds / curtains / privacy. Evidently the concierge had opened all the electric shutters prior to our arrival and we had not realised that they even existed throughout the whole property!. 😢: Overall the house was OK but there are a few small things that would make this rental even better: - only one small bath towel each provided. - only one dishwasher tablet provided for a 4 night stay. The kitchen sponge scourer provided was disgusting (see photo). No oven mitt / glove for taking hot food out of the oven. - cobwebs in the bathroom, behind the internal doors and around the exterior of the property. - there was a bag of charcoal in the lounge but no bbq anywhere (see photo). Most of the above items were mentioned to the Owner when she messaged us but she said we needed to direct these to the Concierge maintenance company directly!.
