In the beginning there was a strong unpleasent smell in the house Nice bathroom fine kitchen

The house was really nice and all the supplies you need in the kitchen are available. The fireplace is very cosy for colder evenings. The big garden is great for outside breakfasts and dinners. The upstairs shower is for short people only, we all used the downstairs bathroom which was fine.

We were greeted by Mme Berson in a very friendly manner and she showed us the facilities available in the accommodation. The cottage more that met our expectations, being very comfortable and clean. The location was ideal for our requirements and there were lots of interesting places to visit in the surrounding region. We also liked the fact that we were able to book from Tuesday to Tuesday rather than at the weekend. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway holiday.

Have never stayed in a village before and fortunately this gite is on a 'voie sans issus' and remarkably quiet. Also it has a pleasant garden as a 'view' with the bonus of the neighbour's goats to watch at the back. The property takes a lot of people but is small enough to feel cosy and with two bedrooms, bathroom and loo on the ground floor is ideal for oldies like us. Lots to see in the surrounding very lovely countryside and the drive to Auxerre is well worth it. Well appointed and comfortable and at this time of year good value for money. Bob and Lynne.

"Very charming cottage on the edge of a small village. Quiet surrounding and nice walking possibilities along the nearby canal and the river. The house has an authentic atmosphere, is nicely decorated, comfortable and spacious."
