The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the garden and pool which was sheltered and sunny. Lunel is a lovely town with everything you need. There is a fantastic playground for little children in walking distance. It's a great base for visiting the area.

We had the pleasure of staying for 2 weeks in September, and the house was perfect! Very centrally located - 5 minute walk to the bustling town centre - but very peaceful and relaxing in the back garden. The house looks tiny from the front, but as soon as you go through the hallway, it opens out to a lovely open plan lounge and kitchen. Very airy and spacious feel. The garden is lovely - big enough for us, with sun loungers, shady areas if needed, and the bbq and swimming pool were a real bonus. The house was very well equipped - lovely kitchen. Bedrooms were perfect, and useful to have a small toilet upstairs for during the night, as well as the main bathroom downstairs. But do be careful as the stairs are quite steep! Parking was no problem - the road is very narrow so you double-park outside when you first arrive to unload your luggage (the owners live next door and will meet you on arrival), and then just a 1-minute drive (and 3 minutes walk back) to a private parking space in the next road. This worked really well, and meant we didn't have to worry about where to park each day when we came back from a day out. The nearest beach was 15 minutes drive - Plage du Grand Travers, with free parking. So wide with clear water and beautiful sand! We also discovered 3 others in the area (Carnon, l'Espiguette and Stes Maries de la Mer) which were equally as good. Lots of places to visit - Arles, Nimes, Sommieres (Saturday market), Aigues-Mortes - and we also did a 4x4 trip to the Camargue which was good fun! Didier and Sandrine were the perfect hosts, made us feel welcome, and gave us lots of useful information about the house and area when we arrived. Thank you.

The house was clean and tidy, well appointed and spacious. It was nice to have a garden while being in walking distance of the town. The house is central to many lovely hitorical towns and monuments so lots to do. The sunday market is enormous and very nice to wander around. There are some things in the house that need looking at - The downstairs shower room - door doesn't lock and only one of the shower heads works. The upstairs toilet - there is no lock on the door All the taps are loose.. The swimming pool broke and wasn't fixed so we were unable use it. (Not so bad for us but if we had children with us it would have been a problem) Overall I would recommend staying here.

We had the pleasure of staying at your house for 2.5 months — and we fully enjoyed our time as your guests. The house provided a perfect setting for a family of four, and occasional visitors still fit in. The combination of separate rooms upstairs and spacious living room with huge kitchen/dining room made living here really comfortable — even more so as the backyard with lawn and pool (the season only started at the end of our stay in March) added a welcome place to be during sunny spring days. The location proved to be a perfect starting point for excursions into Camargue, to the seaside, southern Cevennes as well as the numerous marvelous cities in close distance (Nîmes, Monpellier, Arles, Avignon, Aigues-Mortes, Sète, .... by train or car). My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Lunel. The location is perfect - close to many points of interest and the house and garden is really perfect - especially for a family with small children. We enjoyed spending time in the garden, taking a dip in the pool, firing up the BBQ. There are also some pretty good restaurants nearby and a great park just down the road. Our hosts were really kind, warm, generous and very professional. We will definitely return one day soon and I will be recommending this lovely home to friends and family.
