😊: It was an easy self check in process and is in a very quiet area off a gravel road. The bedroom is very nice with a comfortable bed and completely dark for sleeping. The kitchen had good facilities for cooking other than the downsides mentioned below. A bottle of water was provided considering the natural water supply. Having access to a washing machine is also helpful. The air conditioning in the living area worked reasonably well but it wasn’t an overly warm day for our stay.. 😢: There didn’t seem to be a tea towel provided for drying dishes which was inconvenient. There also wasn’t a rangehood over the cooktop area and even with a window open we managed to quickly set off the smoke alarm- despite no actual smoke. It was on a high shelf in the kitchen so we didn’t actually know it was near to the cooktop to move in advance. It probably would’ve been helpful to have known that and we could have temporarily moved it away from the direct cooking area. It isn’t city water on premises so the shower water does have a smell of iron. Also be careful when parking your car against the hedge/bushes- one of the plants is seemingly a stinging plant..
