Maison au cœur des vignobles de Saint-Emilion

😊: The location is excellent, a few minutes drive from the town in a quiet peaceful area. The plan is well equipped and clean. Parking is directly outside the accommodation. The beds are comfortable, there is good hot water and there are 2 toilets. The hosts were very helpful throughout the booking process, with good communication.. 😢: There are not enough comfortable chairs inside for 4 people, we ended up bringing in chairs from the patio. The below would not be an issue in winter however, for heatwave conditions we found an issue with ventilation: In the bedroom upstairs with single beds there are no windows that open which in a heatwave was not good. Fans were provided. In the bedroom with the double beds, to get any airflow, the windows open inwards directly over the bed. A person in our party got up out of bed in the night and cut his head open on the sharp corner..

😊: Quaint. Quiet. Self sufficient. Clean. Lovely garden. Very close drive to local villages. Huge thanks to Ghislain for bringing in air cond during the heatwave! You saved our holiday.. 😢: Steep narrow stairs (easy fix- we left our suitcase downstairs)..
