Maison avec vue le Vieux Mans

😊: We are a family of five with three children and absolutely loved our stay at Le Plantagenet. The house is beautiful, spacious and full of character, and staying in an ancient house right in the Cité Plantagenêt felt genuinely magical for the children too. Exploring the medieval streets in the evening was such a special start to our holiday. Parking was also much easier than we'd expected. We were travelling in a large van and had been worried about height restrictions, but there was ample, secure, open-air parking nearby and it was completely free. The instructions for unloading at the property and walking back from the car park were really helpful. We only stayed for one night as a stopover but wished we'd booked longer. A really memorable place to stay — we'd happily return..

😊: A stunning location in an amazing historic building. The view from the living room window towards the river was superb. Great to have comfy chairs there. We sat and watched life go by below. Very spacious and comfortable, the house was beautifully decorated throughout. It was delightfully cool inside despite being very hot outside.. 😢: The kitchen wasn’t really set up for significant cooking and the oven was a bit difficult to use. Also a bit tricky to drop off luggage in a big car as the road is very narrow. Do-able but not for the faint hearted. Don’t follow satnav. Follow the owners directions and you can continue straight along the road to get out rather than u-turning..

😊: We absolutely loved our stay at Maison avec vue le Vieux Mans. The location couldn't have been better—right in the heart of the beautiful Old Town, making it the perfect base to explore everything Le Mans has to offer. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, with wonderful facilities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Combined with the charm of Le Vieux Mans, it made for a truly memorable experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Le Mans..

😊: Everything... The location, the beds, the views!, the amenities... It was brilliant to be able to stay somewhere with such history!. 😢: The instructions on how to drive in. Once you get the Le Mans... Neither Waze or Google Maps took us to where you actually need to be! The small cobbled streets are wonderful but quite hard to navigate. Additional instructions and knowledge from a local would be useful.
