Maison calme avec jardin, Petit-Caux

😊: Nice house and spacious. 😢: Host was rude to us from initial meeting becuase we couldn't speak french (possibly because we were English? Strange when you are renting out a holiday home) Especially rude when we left because we had left a few cups on the side on the assumption the property is cleaned between guests as has always been the case when we stay in other places via booking.com, we were not told we had to fully clean the house before leaving. The house was left tidy and clean and in return we received very unpleasant treatment. Very shocked at the host and have never had this experience anywhere else in multiple bookings in multiple countries including France. Very sad as ruined an otherwise nice holiday and upset my son who was there when this happened. The host would do well to remember we paid over €1000 for the property and manners cost nothing. On addition no fan was provided, few towels, no bin bags or dishwasher tablets. House full of locked cupboards and doors which was strange. Think the owner is in the wrong business. I have no idea as to why the host was so rude except maybe she doesn't like English people if so please state no English guests on booking!.
