Maison Carrosse - A 20min de Bordeaux

We had two major problems with our stay: we could not get the Air Conditioning to work at all (there was a heat wave) and, most importantly, the front door did not lock.We tried to contact the owner through several channels (calls, email, SMS) more than once, and we never got a reply. We resorted to taking our valuables (such as cables or the few screens we had) with us every day and blocking the door with a chair during the night.Luckily, this was mostly a precaution as it was the summer break and there were no workers or visitors in the attached vineyard. But if this had happened during the busy season, we would not have felt safe leaving our belongings there all day long or sleeping through the night with an unlocked door.It was also very unprofessional that we could not manage to get in touch with the owner the entire week that we spent there.

😊: Spacious accommodation in a remote location in vineyards, but easy access to local towns and to Bordeaux.. 😢: Decor and equipment are a little dated. No instructions found for operating anything or for expectations prior to checkout..
