Maison charmante à Hourtin avec jardin clôturé

😊: Walking distance to amenities. Car parking adjacent to property. It was hot whilst we were there but the property stayed relatively cool.. 😢: On entering it smelled musty, damp. Some signs of mould on walls which had been recently painted. Mattresses on twin beds were soft and lumpy. Upstairs bedside plug didn’t work so we had to fix up power from downstairs via an extension. Power point adjacent to tv didn’t work. Shower screen in bathroom had not been cleaned. Microwave broken. It was marked hs (hors service) on the inventory but hadn’t been pointed out to us when we took the property over. I did, the next day, point this out to the owner and she offered us 2 extra days free of charge but we had no desire to stay there any longer. The stairs were very narrow and steep. Photo shown on the website doesn’t show how difficult they are to negotiate. It would be very difficult to take suitcases up and down ..
