😊: This is, in every respect, a wonderful property. The hosts, Christine and Basile have created a lovely holiday home within their own grounds, and they are both kind (the aperitif and biscuits were delicious), and helpful yet never intrusive. The house has myriad modern conveniences, enabling comfortable living, enjoying a tranquil position, but within easy reach of Catelaillon-Plage. We were provided with bikes that, even at our advanced ages, made getting to the beach and restaurants straightforward. Indeed a dip in the Atlantic (so bracing) followed by a rewarding beer is all you need to feel like a million dollars! An excursion to the historic Roman ruins at Saintes is another recommendation. We loved our time here and were sad to leave. Don't hesitate to book in here - you won't be disappointed.. 😢: Everything was perfect..
