Maison Cosy, cœur de village

😊: The location in the centre of the higher parts of Les Bauges is marvelous, can't be better. The water basin in front of the house was gathering place for local people, taking water for their garden in the mornings and evenings. Made for some community feeling.. 😢: The accommodation is disappointing. It's small and tiny, and they have done the renovation in such a way that it feels claustrophobic. You enter into a kitchen/dining room, and in the back there is a small living room. In between, there’s the bathroom and toilet, dismantling any feeling of having some space. It says 80 m² and 4 persons, but we felt it already too small with just 2 persons. No garden, only a small terrace in front of the house. Which was only usable before 10.00 and after 20.00. In between, it was like an oven (yes, we had good weather and lots of sun). Oh, and there’s the stairs to the first floor and the two bedrooms. Even after a week, we had the feeling that descending from these stairs called for a warning sign: “DANGER, super-black ski slope”. There was something wrong with the design of these stairs..
