Maison d'altitude à Puy Aillaud - Vallouise-Pelvoux / Parc des Ecrins

The road up to Puy Aillard is a bit daunting, but it's worth it! Maison d'Altitude is well appointed, warm, welcoming, and full of character. We particularly enjoyed the sauna at the end of a day skiing at the local Ski area of Pelvoux, which was relatively cheap and uncrowded - even during the school holidays. We only have one criticism... there was no kettle!
