Our family has had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful charming Gite. We have enjoyed eating every meal in the relaxing garden. We did lots of cooking and found everything we needed at the house. The beds were very comfortable and the village quiet and peaceful. Gabrielle made us feel very welcome and baked us a delicious chocolate cake....yum. We drove to lots of wonderful places and enjoyed swimming in the lake close by. I think anyone looking for a beautiful French experience will be delighted with this property.

We had a wonderful 3 week stay in the charming village of Marce just 5mins drive from the shops, local supermarket, petrol station, and other amenities such as a delightful boulangerie. The A11 autoroute is a mere 5mins away, providing great access to villages and towns of the area to explore. The gite itself is very comfortably furnished and sympathetically decorated to suit the age of the property . It is well equipped for cooking and feeling homely. We spent hours in the stunning garden, either in the wonderful gazebo/covered area or on the loungers on the grass star gazing. For part of our stay there were unseasonably high temperatures across Europe , but nothing that a few fans couldn’t help with in this old thick walled house, given that only the second bedroom had a portable A/C.Our hosts Gabrielle and Jean-Jacques made us feel most welcome and provided lots of useful suggestions of places to visit and a welcome cake. We wholeheartedly recommend this property.

One of the best places i've ever stayed! The house was huge , full of space inside and outside, we enjoyed the garden, the play room, the ping pong and the lovely rooms. Gabrielle and Jean-Jac made us feel at home. Lovely!us

We spent a week staying at this fabulous Gites hosted by Gabrielle and Jean-Jac. The property was simply outstanding. A charming, period property set in an idyllic area. It's rustic charm was simply breath taking. Gabrielle and Jean-Jac have literally thought of everything you would need to make there Gites a real home from home. But what made our stay so memorable was the way in which our hosts were on hand to help and advise, but allowed you absolute privacy, despite living alongside them. Nothing was too much of a problem and they welcomed us with open arms. The local area has everything you need within close proximity (although the village of Marce doesn't have its own Boulangerie) but local shops where a ten minute drive away. Simply put, this holiday was delightful, hosted by a wonderful couple and we cant wait to return.

We enjoyed three nights here on our way through France. The property was so pretty and had everything we needed. We especially loved the garden to eat in of an evening. Really quiet and private.

This beautiful gite is originally from the 17th or 18th century with beams and shutters and has been updated so it is very comfortable. The beds are beautiful with quilts and bolsters and the gite is beautifully decorated with lots of pretty touches. The garden is fantastic and so quiet and peaceful. There's an amazing playroom for children plus separate billiards and table tennis. Lots of lovely places to visit in the region including Angers and Saumur. We stayed for a week but could have stayed longer. Thank you Gabrielle for the lovely cake and warm welcome.

Merci beaucoup à nos hôtes pour ce merveilleux séjour. La maison a beaucoup de charme et nous y avons passé du bon temps en famille. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le ping-pong de même que le jardin, la terrasse et le barbecue et nous avons découvert le musée de Jean Lurçat à Angers, c'est une vraie merveille !

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce gite magnifique. Les chambres sont aménagées avec beaucoup de charme. Il y a une salle de jeux pour des petits et aussi des grands enfants :-). Nous avons apprécié d'être dans le jardin le soir et de terminer la journée. Notre hôte a été très accueillante. Merci pour le délicieux gâteau au chocolat :-) Wir haben in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus wirklich schöne Ferien verbracht. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Charme möbliert und es gibt ein Spielzimmer für kleine und auch große Kinder :-) Wir haben es genossen, am Abend im Garten den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Unser Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich. Vielen Dank für den leckeren Schokoladenkuchen :-)

Das Ferienhaus ist Teil eines größeren alten Anwesens in einem kleinen Ort und sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Räume sind geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet und angenehm zu bewohnen. Wir konnten den Garten benutzen, der schön angelegt ist. Dort haben wir unter einem Scheunendach im Schatten auch bei großer Hitze gerne gesessen.

Séjour merveilleux dans la douceur angevine de l'été. Le gîte plein de charme hors du temps, avec son jardin paradisiaque et ses salles de jeux pour les enfants, y a largement contribué; les châteaux avoisinants et les rivières de Maine-et-Loire sont un attrait supplémentaire. L'accueil des propriétaires, et leurs nombreuses attentions, est venu parfaire le tout.
