The care taken is immense and truly an art that requires considerable input and care. Always at the hand of nature and the environment leads to some tense times during the growth harvesting distillation and maturation requiring substantial skills to produce an excellent range of products. The hosts were both welcoming and able to communicate with us in our very broken French. Frederique, a producer of Armangnac, shared his vast knowledge and immersed us in the local culture and business, including a tasting of different ages of Armagnac.
