Rustic haven<br>#128578; This is a lovely property, a barn conversion with a a really rustic, French feel, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. It's not high-end, designer spec, but I'm not sure that would work here - something of the charm would be lost. The gite has it's own outside space that is entirely private, whether to sit and eat meals or drink a cold beer, while watching the butterflies. Though only 0.6km from a busy main road, it does feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere. The small ...<br>#128577; Nothing - it suited us just fine. Some might prefer to be close to a beach or walkable to a good restaurant, but it was no hardship to to drive to either. It's a bit flysie, but it's next to a farm in the middle of rural Normandy, so again, that's the price of being off the beaten track a little, if, like us, that was what you wanted.
