Maison de Bord de Mer Bretagne, 50 m. de la plage au calme dans une impasse

Great for the beach .Return visit-great weather!

Nous avons passé un agréable sejour a audierne, la maison est idéalement placée, près de la plage et des departs de randonnées à pied ou velo.

Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer Sackgasse. Hinter dem Garten ist direkt ein Maisfeld. Vom ersten Stock aus kann man morgens erst mal einen Blick auf den Atlantik werfen. Die Betten sind bequem und bei offenem Fenster hört man die Wellen den Strand hoch rollen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, auf Firlefanz wurde verzichtet. Die Einrichtung ist nicht unbedingt most fancy, dafür ausgesprochen zweckmäßig und es bleibt genug Platz für die eigenen Sachen, was in vielen Ferienhäusern eher ein Problem darstellt. Wir hatten die Räder dabei, die in der Garage abgestellt werden können, und sind damit zum Bäcker und durch die falbelhafte Bretagne geradelt. Die Region ist wunderschön, die Menschen sind nett, es gibt viele Strände, wobei der Strand vor der Türe eigentlich keine Wünsche offen lässt. Landschaftlich besonders beeindruckend ist die Nordküste des Cap Sizun. Der Küstenwanderweg führ bergauf bergab von einer malerischen Bucht mit türkisfarbenem Wasser zur nächsten. Wer einem Flachköpper nicht abgeneigt ist, sollte unbedingt die Badehose einpacken. Audierne ist ein schmuckes Hafenstädtchen zu Fuß direkt durch das Wohngebiet oder über die Mole an der Küste erreichbar. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und kamen braungebrannt und erholt heim. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Nous y avons fêté la fin de l'Année 2021 avec nos amis. Merci pour l'excellent accueil qui nous a été réservé à notre arrivée! Idéalement située la maison est spacieuse et bien équipée, dans une belle ville bien décorée pour les Fêtes. Parfait pour les randonnées. Tout le monde était ravi, à refaire sans hésiter !!!

Spacious property just a hundred yards from a lovely beach. Audierne is a beautiful town and the surrounding countryside and beaches are fabulous and not too touristy!

We swapped the Jubilee celebrations in the UK for a relaxing week in Brittany. This house seemed to fit the bill when we were searching the websites and it didn't disappoint. In fact it seemed more spacious than the photos implied. It's also situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and just a short walk to the sandy beach and great coastal walks. Walking into Audierne town centre itself takes around 20 minutes so we opted to take the car in the mornings to get the croissants but enjoyed the stroll in the evenings for a good selection of restaurants. Also useful to have a nice creperie (de la Plage) just around the corner. Unfortunately the weather was pretty poor for the beginning of June (both in Brittany and the UK) so our trips to Pointe du Raz etc had to be well planned to make the most of the 'weather windows'. I would also thoroughly recommend a visit to the medieval town of Pont-Croix (a short drive away) coupled with a walk along the River Goyen. Given the weather, we did spend more time in the house than we were expecting to but this gave us a great opportunity to discuss the subtleties of the Yuri Tremler painting in the living room! So to sum up, I would definitely recommend this house to others.

The house is clean modern and spacious. It has a great table tennis table in the garage. It's a great house for children or adults. Only a short walk to restaurants and a great wide beach. At the time we visited in April the area was quiet and some shops and restaurants had not yet opened. The location, although beautiful, is a long drive from St Malo. Overall, would highly recommend.
