Great stay while visiting Monets home and gardens.

Very quiet, just as advertised. 20 mins from Giverny, which was the purpose of our visit.

Pretty simple little house. V clean and neat. We only stayed one night but Laurence the host was very agreeable and flexible with our timings. Clear and accurate information. The village is also worth an explore. Excellent local food of course. And a little cat came today bonjour .

10/10 in character 6/10 in functionality. It’s a beautiful setting in a beautiful town. Ambiance and charm abundant! Love the outdoor space except it needs some attention — during our August visit it looked quite neglected and brown. Kitchen was very functional and worked great for us (once we found the cutlery in the hidden drawer! (: ) except we couldn’t find mugs for coffee Some power outlets didn’t work. We missed wifi, though this was as represented. Difficult having the bathroom on a different floor than the sleeping spaces. Note to renters that some ceiling heights are very low, including over the stairs.

A lovely gite, located in a very quiet village , with no wifi or tv. Need a car although there is a boulangerie ( closed for our stay) and a local produce shop in the village.

Upon entering the yard from the street, we were thinking we might have stepped back in time. The yard and lovely home were enchanting! We wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy it. The home has been tastefully remodeled in an eclectic style combining antique accents and modern conveniences. We loved it and enjoyed our stay very much!

The accommodation was really well appointed with relatively easy access. The upstairs rooms were fabulous for the children accessed via narrow stairs. The downstairs sofa bed provided a comfortable sleep and easy access for my mother. The garden was brilliant. So much space to play and to sit outside enjoying some baguettes and pastries from the nearby bakery. Communication with the owner was easy and very prompt, with some helpful suggestions regarding Monet’s garden. We felt very at home during our stay. We were provided access to the garage which enabled us to keep the car off the narrow street and meant we could easily load and unload the car. A really lovely stop on our tour of France.
