Un gite confortable, sans chichi mais avec tout ce qu’il faut (à part peut être un wc à l’étage), de belles chambres, un jardin charmant avec une piscine bien appréciable. Les propriétaires sont aimables et discrets. La localisation est calme dans une très jolie région, la vallée de la Dronne, avec quelques visites en perspective et de belles marches💖

We loved our week at Sophie and Lionel's property. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms large and thoughtfully decorated. We prepared several meals with ease, and also enjoyed the local restaurant in Saint Victor, which was excellent. We very much enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Everything was very clean and met our needs. We would definitely come to stay again.

On a passé un très bon séjour à Saint Victor. La maison, le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques!!! Lionel était vraiment serviable et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les animaux. Nous voudrions retourner!

The gite is exactly as shown on the website - very stylish with a lovely garden and pool. The kitchen was modern and worked well. Could have done with a few more ovenproof dishes though. Sophie and Lionel were perfect hosts - there if you needed but never intrusive. The local restaurant/bar a short walk away is fantastic- really excellent food with good beer and Bergerac wine. Supermarkets a short drive away and some beautiful towns and villages nearby. The countryside around the gite is wonderful and great for dog walking. Good WiFi . Perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette belle maison, joliment aménagée, qui permet de profiter pleinement du calme environnant et de la campagne aux alentours. Les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables, et la piscine très appréciable, même en arrière-saison. Sophie et Lionel sont extrêmement sympathiques et réactifs, mais restent très discrets - ils sont là uniquement si vous avez besoin d'eux. Nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Thanks for a wonderful week in beautiful french countryside. Lovely restored gite with a typical rustic French feel. Very clean with spacious bedrooms. Sophie and Lionel were very friendly and helpful and also relaxed about arranging late access when we got delayed on the way. Lovely surrounding area with lots of nice places and things to do within easy reach. You won't be dissapointed if you are after a break where you can get away from it all in France. The pool is perfectly adequate for family fun. The improvements that I feel would improve it even more are an extra comfy seat / chair in the main room (so 6 can be seated in the evening) and a canopy area in the garden (we had amazing weather so wouldn't have needed it) The single toilet and shower takes a bit of organising with 6 but it didn't detract from the stay. Very satisfied!
