Maison de caractère avec piscine au milieu d'un village idyllique

This house is exceptional. The outside area is particularly lovely, the pool a dream. We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. Communication with the host was probably the best we have experienced after many stays across Europe, she was more than helpful. Nearby we made trips to Angoulême, Saintes, Royan ( a must for the architecture) and Niort. We can thoroughly recommend.

A delightful home, impeccably kept. We wanted for nothing. The pool was glorious and perfect for a quiet getaway to recharge. Erica was easy to contact and Colin and Debbie very helpful. We will be back!

Lovely house and amazing garden / pool outside eating area , quiet calm location

All was good here. Comfortable beds and lots of linens. Kitchen well equipped. Boulangerie in town had very good baguettes. And Erica's recommended restaurant was terrific. Thanks!!!

Great if you are looking to chill in a very quiet village. Some really good restaurants found both locally and in towns like Cognac and Angouleme. House lived up to its description.

being in this complete house with our family was super. Clean, spacy, well equiped with good material and furnished with great taste. Swimming pool is beautifull and privacy optimal. Village very (too) calm. Super host. Better than the pictures. aug. 2021 LL - Belgium
