Maison de charme

😊: Location of this little house is very quiet as it is tucked away in this little village . Access with keysafe at front door. It is a rather odd quirky house, which has a very steep spiral staircase and a creaky upstairs with low doorways and steps between each room. Surfaces clean though really needs a thorough deep clean throughout. We brought our own bedding (inc our own pillows) as an extra charge applied for sheets. Very pleased we did that as the pillows provided were not fit for purpose ( more like cheap cushions) - though plenty of clean towels were provided which was a good point. One big plus was lots of hot water. The owner responded quickly to our call asking for help to get the heating going and visited to sort it out . The Wifi worked. There were no instructions for anything which didn't matter to us as we only used a kettle for morning / evening tea. Parking was right next door which was v convenient.. 😢: Absence of working smoke alarm/ COO detector was a worry. Not a single piece of furniture upstairs or downstairs for hanging or storing clothes Hard uneven floors and very creaky upstairs. Staircase steep, spiral and awkward. We were fine but would not suit very young or elderly guests.

😊: It was very charming, spacious , clean and with all the amenities required. 😢: Nothing.

😊: We couldn't access the key box finally a representative of the owners came and managed to open the key box which was empty no key inside the box...the rep luckily had a key but then I asked where to park to discover there wasn't any parking onsite despite the advert saying parking available...as I am disabled the suggestion of parking down the hill on the public road was not only both impossible and inpractical, but without the security of parking on site. In the end we had to leave, by this time it was getting quite late and we had to book into an alternative accommodation.. 😢: No parking available on site. No key in key box..

séjour d'une nuit mais bien apprécié, tout confort, les chambres sont atypiques, grande salle de bain, petit bémol les toilettes du rdc sont petites pour les PMRA refaire

Nous avons passée le réveillon en famille dans cette petite maison. Calme et très agréable. Nous nous y sommes senti tout de suite très bien. Calme chaleureux. Et qu'elle plaisirs d allumer un bon feu dans la cheminée. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillants. Un séjour très agréable. Et une adresse à retenir.
