Maison de Charme à 15 min. de Carcassonne

One week off with the family to explore region between Carcassone and Toulouse in October. The house is just 15min west of Carcassone and easy to reach. The pool and its pool house (with kitchen, shower, WC) is certainly great during hot summers but less useful in later October. Helene, the owner, was of great support when we arrived - no issues with communication. The house itself is divided into the part for rental and a second part which is used for storage. Rooms a large and charming with wood flooring, old furniture and an open fireplace in the living room. A large fenced garden surrounds the house and separates it from buildings which are situated at the backside. We enjoyed our week there.

Une belle maison du campagne, bien situé près Carcassonne et les plusieurs choses a faire dans le région, et un hôte très agréable. Hélène is a great host and her house is lovely. A beautiful fireplace for cold evenings, great location, and wonderful outdoor space!

This is a charming property and is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Helene responded well to all our questions prior to our visit and the property was as described on the site. Negatives: It is an old house so the electrics did struggle a bit (mainly when the oven was on!) The water feature by the pool looks great but isn't very child friendly! Positives: Lots of space and the pool table is a great addition. We did have a couple of issues but Helene was very quick to rectify them and was always contactable. Having basic condiments available was very useful and a welcome surprise. It is a quiet location and property is charming! The kids really loved the pool and the pool house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this lovely property. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay in this property again.

Un très bon séjour en famille dans une villa très agréable. Hélène est très soucieuse du bien être de ses locataires, elle a su rapidement régler quelques soucis dus aux précédents locataires, on la remercie pour son accueil, son hospitalité et son efficacité.

A lovely chateau with an amazing pool and pool house with fully equipped kitchen and ext shower and wc. Fantastic to keep the kids happy all day! Easy 15min drive to Carcassonne. Supermarket in Alzonne only 5 min. Helene was easy to communicate with even with my lack of French and hers English!

Beautiful old house with a huge garden and well equipped pool house. Authentic period furniture. We particularly loved sitting out on the terrace watching the birds. Host was charming and attentive. We can thoroughly recommend this property

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans cette belle propriété; chacun a pu y apprécier les divers espaces (piscine, billard, transat, jardin...). Un grand merci à notre hôte pour son investissement et le soin apporté à notre accueil, tout était très bien. Nous gardons en mémoire de très bons souvenirs de ce séjour et le charme des lieux. Nous ne manquerons pas de retenir cette adresse en cas de nouvelles vacances dans le département.

Merci à Hélène pour son accueil chaleureux dans sa grande maison. Nous étions 9 dont 2 enfants (2 et 5 ans) et nous avons passé un agréable week-end. Le billard nous a permis de passer de bons moments alors que le beau temps n'était pas au rdv et la cheminée était vraiment agréable !
