Maison de charme au coeur du village de Goult.

Goult is centrally located to explore all the beauty of the Vaucluse. It is not a touristy village, but has all the charm. It offers six restaurants, two Michelin recommended, a small epicerie (grocery store), a boulangerie, boucherie and fromagerie. The house faces the square where you will park for free, the weekly market takes place here on Thursdays in La Place de la Liberation. The church is on other side of the square and the bell tower chimes hourly which we loved.The beds are super comfy. Lots of storage and lots of hangers, which we appreciated, we were there for three weeks. We used the shower in the larger bath because the small bath shower head sprays more on a shelf than on the body. The listing did not mention there is a toilet on the first floor level which we found to be convenient. The kitchen is well outfitted. We loved the Nespresso machine so much we purchased one upon our return. The toaster slots are not wide enough to accommodate a slightly wider slice of bread. We did not find a pantry, but also did not use the kitchen for cooking meals.The stairs were not an issue for us, we have lots of stairs at home, but this is not the house for someone with mobility issues. We do not think the outdoor roof terrace is described sufficiently, you need to climb a very steep winding iron staircase to access. I braved it one day to take photos.The manager, Herve, was very helpful and accessible, his office only w doors down.

The property was everything described on the website and much more. It’s a great location in a wonderful village. The house is incredibly well set up and the finishes are impeccable. The host was responsive and friendly. We will definitely stay again.

I sincerely recommend this lovely house, located in the heart of the village of Goult. The accommodation is warm and welcoming, decorated with care (we were treated to a magnificent Christmas tree!) and many tastefully chosen antiques. The decoration is tastefully chosen and reflects a certain artistic sensibility; the rooms are larger and brighter than the photos suggest. The house is quiet with double-glazed windows, and is also well-equipped on the kitchen side (numerous books in English, cast-iron casseroles, ramekins, casserole dishes, oven handles, capsule or push-button coffee maker, etc.) but also very comfortable on the bedding side in the two bedrooms, and the sofa bed in the study has a good quality futon. There is also a Bose loudspeaker and a connected TV, as well as a number of beautiful books promoting the region, its cuisine, its vineyards and its heritage. The view from the top of the terrace has to be earned: you have to climb a charming little staircase, but after the effort, you'll dominate the rooftops of Provence and feel like the king of the world! Last but not least, Hervé's on-site welcome deserves 5 stars in every way.

Wir haben die 8 Tage in Goult, in der Umgebung und in dem Haus sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben, sehr sauber, viel Platz, sehr zentral am Marktplatz und gute Möglichkeiten zum Kochen. Alles Bestens und Dank an die Gastgeberin.

Très belle maison en plein coeur du paisible village de Goult. Café et commerces à 1min à pied de la maison rendant le quotidien très agréable. Bel intérieur avec de grands volumes et entièrement équipé pour cuisiner. Superbe séjour passé en Provence dans cette demeure qui permet d’être à l’écart des villages extrêmement touristiques et en même temps à proximité.
