Wir haben zu acht (2 Familien mit zusammen 4 Kindern) für eine Woche dieses schöne historische Haus bewohnt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Pierre und seine Frau sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
It was just what we wanted a very guiet area, but only 10 mins from supermarkets and restaurants by car. The property was very rustic with lovely gardens and pool area.
We have just arrived back from a 3 night stay at this charming French cottage located on the grounds of a larger house where the owners live. The gardens are beautiful and you have use of a private heated pool (a big hit with the kids). Privacy is not an issue. Pierre is a perfect host: friendly, knowledgeable about the area and generous - he gave us a cold bottle of Champagne on arrival (thanks Pierre - délicieux)! The cottage is well equipped, nicely furnished, sleeps 9 comfortably, and the fireplace provides the perfect ambience for cold evenings. The location is ideal; not far from Calais and a short drive to Boulogne, Wimereux or Le Touquet. Plenty to see do - farmers markets, aquarium, beaches, shopping, golf, horse riding etc.. The pictures on this site do not do the property justice - it is stunning! I highly recommend this cottage for a long weekend break (or longer). Craig
