Maison de charme en Normandie à 500m des plages du débarquement avec cheminée

Lovely cottage, full of character and very well-equipped. Superb location, a short walk to Asnelles beach, and a short drive to Arromanches. Bayeaux is also in easy reach by car.Both the owner and managing agent are extremely responsive and helpful.We visited in October so were not able to make use of the secluded garden area, but I think it would be very nice in the sunnier months. We did make good use of the wood-burner which added to the cosy atmosphere in the evenings.All-in-all an outstanding property.

We enjoyed the house and garden. The house is fully equipped, with a complete kitchen inventory, and everything is well maintained and attractive. We used the bedroom in the ‘attic’ as the master bedroom, because in the other double bedroom the bed was against the wall, which we didn't find very practical. The staircase to the ‘attic’ is very narrow. All in all, a perfect house for anyone who wants to stay in the D-Day area.

Loved the property, great communication, stairs were a bit steep, especially to the upstairs bedroom. Overall great stay and very positive experience.

This was such a beautiful place to stay!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would recommend this house to anyone interested in staying in or around Normandy.

Had a very pleasant stay. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of comfortable beds. The bathroom is in excellent condition.

We had a perfect stay. The home is charming, well-appointed and stocked. The owner and his house manager Aurore were lovely and very easy to reach with any questions. But the best part of staying in this home is its location. Asnelles is a charming, quiet town but is easily accessible to Bayeux and Arromanches, directly in the heart of D-Day history. But even better, Asnelles is situated in the center of the northern Normandy coast, making it easy to take day trips all the way west to Mont St. Michel or all the east to Honfleurs, Le Havre and Giverney. Property was well stocked with all you need for a weeks stay , only gripe was if you are staying with elderly people the stairs are a bit steep with no hand rails, but overall we had a very pleasant stay ,
