Maison De Charme piscine chauffée : "Chez Paulette " Calme, Espace , pétanque .

We had a very pleasant stay in this house. Its at a quiet location with a view over a field. With good weather you can stay in the pool house, where there is ample seating, a fridge and a grill. When the weather became really hot the house was very warm on the first floor, there are fans. Downstairs there is an airco to cool the bedrooms. The owners and there family are great helpful and friendly people.

Plenty of space indoors and outdoors . Everything you would need for a family holiday. There were 8 adults and a 3 year old and a baby. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was great and we were shown how to operate the pool cleaning. Lots of outdoor seating made eating outdoors very pleasant. Our hosts were very helpful when we were unable to put up the cot. Good WiFi.

We stayed for a week with three generations of adults ranging from 18 to 79 years old. The accomodation was just perfect. The yougsters took over the top floor, with thei own sitting room and we stayed downstairs. The house is just beautiful and very well appointed but the best bit for us was the pool area and petanque court. Just the most perfect setting. There is a toilet and shower out there as well as a gas bbq and running water, also a wonderful covered seating area. It is rural though and there is nothing in walking distance, but that was exactly what we wanted. I really do not have a negative thing to say!

The gite was exactly like the photos: lovely and with no close neighbours. There was a well-equipped kitchen. It was surrounded by garden, hay field and orchard. You could hear bird song, and observe different varieties of birds.The pool area was very attractive, and had a covered area at the side where you can sit in the shade. The hosts Dominique and Veronique were welcoming, charming, and available for the few occasions that we needed something..The area is close to Perigueux, which is a lovely centre, and only half an hour from main sites. We hope to return one day
