Maison de la forêt, terrasse plein sud et standing

😊: Clean spacious and functional. 😢: Had to wait for lady to provide sheets (had seen better days) and towels which we had to pay for on arrival. Confusion over checkout timing . Communication via WhatsApp in French could have been the problem here!.

😊: Well equipped, comfortable, quiet neighbourhood, not too far from the beach. JK. 😢: No bedside reading lamps (only in one bedroom). A standing lamp next to the couch in the living room would also be a useful addition..

😊: Modern , clean , well maintained , central , close to amenities , cooker , fridge , bikes , garage , tv with various channels , Netflix YouTube etc , large back garden with sun loungers and tables chairs , perfect for a vacation or stay. 😢: Perfect !!.

😊: House itself was lovely,nicely decorated and well equipped. 😢: Communication was awful,we sent multiple messages via txt & Booking.com on the days leading up to our booking with no response.We arrived at the property & had to call multiple times for someone to answer & said be round in 10 mins to check in, 30-40 mins later someone arrived.It looked like the house had been completely shut off,with all electrics etc turned off & were only switched on at check in,so we had to wait ages for the fridge to be properly cold & we were told would be 2/3 hrs for hot water, but was still luke warm at bed time so had to wait till morning for a shower.we booked well in advance so thought the staff would have sorted & confirmed the day before.We had no Wifi at all during our 5 night stay.The staff ( guessing a management company) couldnt care less & offered no compensation or solution for this.There is zero chance we would have booked this place without have Wifi.All 3 adults had used all there phone data by day 3 hotspotting the TV to watch films in the evening.Also,for a place for child frjiendly ( swings , garden great) but there was loads of cactus & spikey plants in the garden.One afternoon had to spend 10 mins pulling spikes out of my grandsons feet & legs.
