😊: location is fantastic. Ideal for isolation and disconnecting from the usual screen-intense work-life. Plenty of activities in this beautiful region. 😢: Really expensive for the quality of the place! Lots of issues with the property. Swimming pool was not clean which was a real shame. 3 wasps nests present on site and some problems with the electricity which didn't feel particularly safe (lots of extension cables plugged into more extension leads to get all appliances working. The cleanliness of the property was dubious at best (sticky table, floors with marks) and there were a live-in family of mice under the bathtub. Annnd although we wanted to disconnect, there was actually no WiFi so difficult to give signs of life (or keep the kids busy during the thunderstorm or while waiting for the plumber!).
