Maison de maitre -river frontage -private heated pool 5 mins walk to the village

We had the perfect relaxing week. The property is exactly as described and Sarah and Nic were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed with three children aged between 14 to 5 with the aim to relax from our busy work/school lives and maximise family time. The property was perfect - we prepared and ate every meal outside (having bought fresh bread in mornings from walking distance village) and the pool was perfect for playing and keeping cool. Despite temperatures reaching mid-30s all week, bedrooms were comfortable and cool, we all slept well.No negatives.Thank you Sarah and Nic.

The property was perfect for our family holiday. There was plenty to see and do within a short drive and the pool and outdoor space provided the ideal place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. Sarah and Nick are fantastic hosts and gave us lots of useful recommendations during our stay. They are on hand if needed but the house still feels very private. The house is very well equipped and 5 minutes walk from a lovely village. The restaurant is a must visit.

2 weeks at the gite, very well appointed, lovely features within the property showing its age /history . Great outside space, well maintained and private. Pool immaculate. Definitely recommend this property- owners on site with helpful suggestions but no way obtrusive

We really enjoyed our stay at Gite Peyre St Front. Sarah and Nic were great hosts. Friendly, responsive and very helpful. The house and grounds were beautiful, as described and probably the best equipped French property I have ever stayed in. The village is beautiful and the area quiet and unspoilt

Sarah and Nick were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The gite is charming and it feels like a home away from home. Its well stocked and full of little thoughtful touches. the outdoor space is incredible we spent most of our time in the garden playing in the pool and sitting by the river. The outdoor kitchen is a god send and makes it easy to live outside. We miss our morning walks for the bread and coffee at the sports spa. Theres a lot to visit nearby we’d recommend a night in Perigeaux and a visit to Jean St de Cole. Thiviers is the nearest town great food at Le Goch. A perfect family holiday.

We had a fantastic 12 nights at this gite in the village of Corgnac Sur L'isle. Nick and Sarah are fantastic hosts that live on-site and are incredibly helpful. We traveled with 2 young children and struggled using our baby monitor with the thick walls of the gite. They provided a camera to help us keep an eye on the kids while we enjoyed the amazing garden in the evenings. The village is small but incredibly friendly and picturesque. It's near the town of Thiviers and we'd thoroughly recommend their Saturday market. If anything, the photos perhaps don't do the gite justice. We got to have exclusive use of the 4-acre garden, pool and amazing outdoor kitchen. It's a lovely and relaxing part of France, and we'd definitely come again.

The house has a lovely rustic home from home feel.Maintained in a sympathetic old style French way.The house is easily big enough to accommodate 6 people with fully fitted out functional kitchen,large lounge with comfortable seating for maybe 10 guests.we found the beds too were very comfortable for all. The outside space to the rear is a fantastic huge area with fully functional covered kitchen and proper BBQ kit/facility There is a good table and seating area for outside meals with very large quality umbrella if required. The separate pool and area again was fantastic.Good quality comfortable sun loungers with again quality umbrellas The pool itself was a really good size,clean and refreshing. The garden then extends a long way down to a small river but creates a massive space for family games. Overall a very nice relaxing stay ,lovely accommodation,great rear outside area with pool that made it for us. My only request would have been to have some garden game accessories to play with on the large lawned garden area,ie football,base ball bats,cricket set etc. We would (4 adults) definitely recommend a stay
