Maison de vacances sur terrain de 6000 m2. Charme et tranquilité de la campagne

Booked (pre-Covid) in 2019 and stayed in April 2023 after Covid prevented us from visiting. Owners very accommodating and agreed to move the booking at no cost. The house, facilities and responsiveness of the owners was first class.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Isabelle and her family were really nice and check-in and contacting her during our stay was easy. In a corner of the garden were chickens and we were allowed to get the up to 5 eggs they lay per day. And they had set up a large pool in the garden, complete with air matresses and pool noodles! In there and with the pool table, table tennis, darts and table soccer we had lots of fun. The kitchen was well equipped (they even had 4 raclette machines and several fondue sets). The beds were nice with huge duvets. The surrounding area is quite rural. Next town to shop for groceries is Fruges. The sea is 1 hour drive away. We went to Merlimont which was really nice.

Super property. 9 good sized bedrooms. The ground floor kitchen, diner, lounge is a great communal space. The large table will accommodate everyone. The pool table was regularly used and wasn't intruding on others. We were lucky with the weather so spent lots of time at the outside tables and chairs. The gym is well equipped and the table tennis table really good. When I saw the photo of the bikes I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are, with an extensive range of bike helmets. As a result, we were able to confidently cycle into the local area. Location is perfect if you want something away from it all but with lots of places to visit within an hour's drive. All in all a great property with plenty to entertain you within the property itself if the weather isn't so good.

Great place for several families. Something for everyone and the weather was perfect! Isabelle and her family couldn’t hdve been more welcoming. The only downside is that we didn’t expect to have neighbours on each side... but that was a small point!

An excellent Christmas week for all our family. We were 12 adults and two children. The accommodation suited us superbly. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Good kitchen facilities (two cookers and two dishwashers) together with two large washing machines and a tumble dryer. Central heating worked very well, we were never cold. Also the big log-burning stove kept us very cosy. The pool table was a big hit with the younger members of the family and the gym with table tennis was in constant use. We were warmly welcomed by Isabell and Phillipe who had very thoughtfully supplied and decorated a beautiful Christmas tree, lights as well. The Carrefour supermarket in Fruge is just 10 mins away had everything we could need. Isabelle et Phillipe, merci beacoup. Alan and Diane
