Propriété idéale pour un séjour au calme mais à proximité de nombreux sites pour des activités de toutes sortes : visite de grottes, parcs d’attraction, Aqua ludique, accrobranche, canoë-kayak, etc. Maison très bien équipée et grande piscine.

Propriété idéale pour un séjour au calme mais à proximité de nombreux sites pour des activités de toutes sortes : visite de grottes, parcs d’attraction, Aqua ludique, accrobranche, canoë-kayak, etc. Maison très bien équipée et grande piscine.

We have just had a wonderful week at this house. The outside is a beautiful stone village house, including stone terraces external stone stairs. The inside has some fabulous architectural design features; the photographs do not do the space justice. The interiors are beautiful and comfortable. Stunning views. The pool is fabulous - modern and plenty big enough for v active kids. The village, Chauzon, is v pretty and fun swimming in the gorge, 5 mins drive. There are 3 restaurants, a supermarket and petrol station within 10 min drive. The house is well located for many Ardeche activities. Ruoms Balazuc v pretty nearby villages. We spent 2 days kayaking with Adventure Ardeche (25 mins) , canyoning with Base Canyon de la Besorgues (1 hr), recommend both. The owner responded to our queries via Vrbo promptly, and a 'concierge' lady kindly met us on arrival departure, for handover. We stayed during a very hot week and it would have been nice to have a fan in the sitting room, or aircon. There were fans in all 3 bedrooms though. As with much of the area at this time, bring mosquito repellent for the evenings! Thank you for having us.
