Great location and house

This was our second time staying at this property. Last time was August of 2019. Nine cyclists who did Paris Brest Paris ride. We would recommend this area, property and owners without hesitation to everyone considering staying here. You will not be disappointed.

More than enough room for our family of 6. Ideal location for Versailles and Paris. Train station only a 5 minute walk away. We arrived late and left early but hosts were very accommodating. No problems parking outside the house. Great wifi and big TV with Netflix and Prime. Well stocked kitchen, big toy cupboard. We all enjoyed our stay!

I can’t say enough good things. The hosts were terrific, location was wonderful, quaint and adorable. The home was warm and welcoming. It’s an oasis. You won’t be disappointed!

This house is beautiful, the pictures do not justify the property, the artwork in the house is breathtaking! We were welcomed by the owners who were so friendly and helpful. The property had everything you need to feel right at home... iron, fans, tea coffee, all kitchen amenities, toiletries, extra bedding, and basic cooking essentials ie pots and pans etc! smart tv, high chair...... you name it... they had everything! There is also parking around the back and in front of the property so parking our 3 cars was no problem... the garden area is so lovely and clean. The property is in a superb quiet location, with bakeries 1-2 mins walk supermarket 7-8 mins walk away with a fuel station. There is a community center 2-3 doors away with a pool, the train station was 10 min walk away so very easy to get into Paris in 45 mins. Me and my family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and will definitely be returning.

Ideal for a group stay - the village has plenty of facilities and Paris is easily accessible. So if you want to be here it is a great solution.

Donald and Aoua were warm, friendly and very accommodating. The house is spacious while feeling cozy and welcoming, with large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and it’s full of gorgeous art. The town of Les-Essarts-le-Roi is charming and also friendly, with a lovely supermarket and marvelous butcher and bakeries. The train to Paris and the nearby towns is easy to navigate, and almost everyone we met was helpful and kind. We would love to go back and stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! We were greeted by Donald and Aoua who were very flexible considering our late arrival. They greeted us with a nice bottle of French rosé and a fresh baguette. The photos do not do this house justice. We walked in and felt we were transported into an idyllic, French country style home. It was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Located in a small village with convenient bakery and butcher shops as well as a supermarket, all within short walking distance. I highly recommend the local bakery for the baguettes and croissants. We enjoyed these treats for breakfast every morning and on some nights we grilled in the beautiful peaceful backyard. Nearby train station is an easy 10 minute walk which can be done in six minutes if you run (and we did on some days!) This train station connects you to convenient locations including Versailles and Paris. The train system is very easy to use and convenient for the best tourist destinations. Excellent house if you are looking to experience the best of France. The hosts were kind attentive and wonderful to meet. They even helped with all our questions regarding local sites and recommendations. You cannot go wrong with this house, both because of the wonderful hosts and the ideal location with train access. We hope to return!
