Maison des Séquoias - Parc 1 hectare-

😊: Nothing, it was dirty old and tired and had a terrible smell like damp and cats everywhere, we left early as soon as we found somewhere else. 😢: Everything except the garden furniture was broken washing machine was from the 70, it was not shabby chic or French vintage it was dirty broke mish-mash.

😊: Location. 😢: Not the nice country retreat we were hoping for. The location is good but I would probably end all compliments there. On arrival the host was showing us around and told us there was a mouse in the house somewhere that she had been unable to catch (despite the collection of wild cats in the garden), there was a distinctly musty smell to the place, which took several washes to get out of our clothes once we returned home. Towels aren’t necessarily provided, we had to ask for some and were given 2 quite small towels (and 1 tea towel) for a family of 4 staying for 4 nights. We visited in October so the weather wasn’t great but the whole place just felt dank, dark and cold. The most miserable part of the whole experience though was the flea bites I got- utterly grim! We made a formal complaint to booking.com but they just told us to take it up with the host. When we tried contacting Anne she never responded. Do yourself a favour and find anywhere else to stay. I’d rather never go on holiday again than have to stay there..

😊: Lovely location. Peaceful.. 😢: Bit dusty and cobwebbed. Mould in bathroom. Bed was akin to a medieval torture device..

😊: Lovely peaceful country side location Only a short car ride to limoges and surrounding villages beautiful French house with all the amenities you could need Would definitely recommend if your wanting a nice relaxing get away.
