Maison en bois face à la mer - Seaside charm on the Pink Granite Coast

We had a wonderful week at this gite. We hated to leave and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. Katy was a great host. She was responsive during the booking phase and helpful during our stay. The house is big enough for a crowd but was still cozy for just the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped with enough of everything to accommodate a crowd and there were lots of sharp knives (which is not always the case). The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels). The patio and lawn were lovely for relaxing and dining. The house is located in a residential area so it’s peaceful but it’s only a couple of minutes from D786 so it’s easy to get everywhere. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Das Haus liegt auf einer Kuppe mit fantastischem Blick - vom Garten, von der Terrasse, vom Wohnbereich und aus einem der vielen Schlafzimmer - über die Bucht. Im Oktober sind selbst in der Bretagne die Tage kürzer, die Abende nicht so lauschig, so dass man mehr Zeit im Haus verbringt. Dafür bietet Haus, neben der Terrasse, viel Platz, hat eine große, gut ausgestattete Küche mit Esstisch, einen großen Wohnbereich, sogar ein Klavier (Noten sind mitzubringen). Für kühle Abende kann man den Kaminofen - auch groß - nutzen - rumdrum ein gemütliches, wohnliches Haus mit viel Platz - s. Beschreibung im Prospekt. Die jeweilige Übergabe verlief völlig unkompliziert, die Vermieterin ist nett, hilfsbereit, bei Rückfragen stets erreichbar. Man ist schnell in der "Natur" für Wanderungen, Spaziergänge. Im Dorf gibt es ein Geschäft für Grundbedürfnisse, für größere Einkäufe sollte man über ein Auto verfügen (die Busverbindungen haben wir nicht getestet).

Nous avons passé 2 semaines inoubliables à 9. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie et excellente, mais surtout l'espace à vivre est idéal pour des moments entre amis.Le jardin est magnifique, et la vue sur la baie inoubliable.Katy nous a prodigué un excellent acceuil. Nous recommandons sans réserve.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette propriété originale, ultra confortable avec une vue imprenable sur la grève. Prestations intérieures de qualité! Accueille de haut standing! Sympathie, disponibilité et anticipation des propriétaires étaient de rigueur! Ils pensent à tout. Nous recommandons fortement...allez-y les yeux fermés, vous les ouvriraient une fois sur place et la magie opérera ;-)

Magnifique séjour en famille dans cette maison chaleureuse et lumineuse avec de superbes vues sur la mer. Très bien équipée on se sent comme à la maison. Accueil très sympathique de Katy et très bons conseils pour les endroits à visiter. Lieu de vacances à recommander.

Location très très agréable: maison en bois chaleureuse et bien équipée. Nous y sommes bien installés, très grand canapé, grande table basse, poêle à bois, grande table, terrasse bois et très belle vue. Tout le monde y trouve sa place, on peut y cuisiner avec plaisir. A 4' de la plage, immense, très chouette pour marcher, courir, chemin des douaniers tout proche. Facile pour visiter la côte de Granit Rose. Katy notre hôte est adorable et acceuillante, et un petit panier de gourmandises nous attendait. Bref, un lieu chouette où on s'y sent comle chez soi, en mieux !

Communication with the owners is laconic at best. But don't let this put you off. This house is expensive but very good value. It has a wonderful garden view of the bay. The house is clean on your arrival and cleaned at the end of your stay. You have some wonderful views from every part of the garden. All the furniture and bedding is high quality. I love cooking and although the kitchen has only one oven and an idiosyncratic dishwasher it has every implement that you could ever want. The house is very quiet. The bay has some super beach walks and a life threatening costal path. Buy a map and you will discover some fantastic walks leading to idyllic small costal villages with fine restaurants. We intend to return. Only 2 hours drive from St Malo.

If you adore the north of Bretagne, consider this address. It's all great. Beautiful wooden house with luxury baths and good mattresses ( rare thing in rent houses ) Fantastic garden view. I recommend it. Be aware : the house is on the top of a very steep hill. That's why the view is fantastic..and it's a blessing for your physical health
