Maison en pierre de pays sur les flancs du Caroux ( 4 à 6 personnes)

Maison très agréable, notamment sa terrasse et vue magnifique. Très bon accueil. Les gorges de Colombières sont en contrebas de la maison, accessibles à pied. Très appréciable en période de fortes chaleurs ! Nous y avons passé une excellente semaine, en découvrant la vallée de l’Orb

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cet endroit charmant. La maison bien équipée, sa terrasse et les gorges de Colombieres a proximité sont des atouts majeurs de ce lieu.

Es ist ein wundervolles, gepflegtes Haus in sehr schöner Lage. Es ist sehr liebevoll und detailverliebt eingerichtet. Schöne alte Holzmöbel die mit geschmackvollem Geschirr in ausreichender Zahl bestückt sind. Es ist alles in ausreichender Zahl da. Die Schlafzimmer sind hell mit sehr schönen Ausblicken. Ein Haus zum verlieben. Die sehr schöne große Terrasse mit genügend Schatten wenn es heiß ist, einer Überdachung falls es regnet(was es aber eigentlich nie tut) und genügend Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten, bietet einen unglaublich fesselnd schönen Blick auf das kleine Dorf unten im Tal der Orb und die gegenüberliegenden wunderschön wilden grünen Berghänge. Man kann sich einfach nicht satt sehenund lösen. Das Haus ist perfekt für 6 Personen und auch 8 Personen würden es bestimmt genießen. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Sauber und schön. Vor allem für Wanderer absolut geeignet. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten gehen dierekt am Haus los. Es braucht aber auch nur 20 min zu Fuß und man ist in einer beeindruckenden Schlucht zu durchwandern oder einfach nur baden im eiskalten sehr sauberen Gebirgsflußwasser. Herrlich bei über dreißig Grad im Schatten. Und in der Umgebung gibt es ganz viele Sachen zu entdecken. Ach ja, ein winzig kleiner, aber mit wirklich fast allen zum Leben benötigten Sachen bestückter Laden, einschließlich frischem leckerem Baguette am Morgen ist 10 min. zu Fuß den steilen naturbelassen Fußweg runter am Dorfanfang zu erreichen. Zurück dauert es dann bis zu 20 min abhängig davon wieviel man eingekauft hat oder trainiert ist. ;-) Neben dem Dorfladen ist ein schönes Restaurant mit Terrasse wo wir aber nur einmal ein Bier getrunken haben. Was wir an Essen gesehen haben sah aber sehr verlockend aus. Also: 5 Sterne mit Sternchen. Wie gesagt wir werden wieder kommen.

Wir hatten eine entspannte und wunderbare Woche in einem charmanten Haus in der Natur, fern ab vom Trubel. Die Terrasse an der Ausblick sind ein Traum, das Haus sehr charmant mit einer ganz speziellen Atmosphäre. Parken direkt am Haus ist nicht möglich, man kann aber zum Ausladen auf einen kleinen Platz davor fahren und dann 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt das Auto abstellen. Ansonsten kommt man dort wunderbar zur Ruhe, kann entspannen und wandern gehen, was mir leider verwehrt war, da ich mir kurz davor meinen Fuß gebrochen hatte. Aber überall gibt es herrliche Wanderwege, die ich vielleicht beim nächsten Mal nutzen werde. Ich kann dieses Haus, wenn man Abgeschiedenheit und Natur mag, nur empfehlen.

We(2 adults and 4 boys aged 8-16) had a wonderful stay in this comfortably furnished holiday home. The balcony is great-loads of space and seating, choice of sun or shade for most of the day, and a wonderful view. The house is almost at the end of a very quiet road in an elevated position above the village and feels very private, apart from the occasional walker passing by on the path that leads down to the village. The village and the river with many wonderful pools for swimming in can be reached by this path-about a 5 mins walk down some steep steps and 10 mins back up as it is very steep! But well worth it! We enjoyed trips to a lake and the beach (both about 1hr drive away), and lots of visits to the gorge to cool off in the pools. It is also possible to walk the whole of the gorge path directly from the house. It is possible to park your car outside the house to unload, but then it needs to be left about 90 yds back down the road. There are several steep and uneven steps down to the cottage, so may be a bit tricky for the less-mobile. There is also an open stone staircase in the house, so perhaps not ideal for very young children. 2 of the bedrooms are connecting, with the second toilet in the inside of these bedrooms. There are a lot of beds in the house in addition to the ones in the property description-2 doubles in one bedroom, another double bedroom, a twin bedroom, 2 single beds in the living room and a bed under the stairs, so a choice of where to sleep if you bring extra bedding with you! Although the property description says that towels and linens are provided, we were told a week before our stay that we had to pay if we wanted to have them, so an unexpected extra cost. There was only one fan in the house so it was rather uncomfortable at night and difficult to sleep-some extra fans would have been welcome! The living room also would benefit from some proper armchairs rather than the 2 beds that are provided to sit on. But it is a beautifully situated holiday home which we thoroughly enjoyed staying in.
