Maison entière entre Orléans et Montargis

😊: As research-focussed academics from the UK researching life in the Loire region, the house, with its location in a forested area in the country, the peace and privacy, served us very well. We were able to access the Canal d’Orléans nearby, as well as the Loire River itself, focussing on Sully-sur-Loire and its rich, magnificent chateau, within reasonable driving distance of the house. A drive on quiet roads along the Loire itself brought us to charming little towns and hamlets, many rich in medieval history and architecture. The house itself was well-located, clean and comfortable with 2 large bedrooms with ample space for our work desks as well as for self-catering and dining. Siting out to enjoy the sunset and sunrise, as well as observing the rich bird life around, were added bonuses. There was ample space for parking within the grounds.. 😢: Nothing, though, it would have been nice to meet our host, Fabrice, an excellent communicator. Maybe on our next visit....
