Maison FACE MER - Plage du débarquement - Omaha Beach - Séjour INOUBLIABLE

Location was perfect to beach, monuments, some local restaurants, ice scream, spirits. We rented a car to visit Mont Saint Michel (another marvel) and Caen for our Normandy 4 hour Tour. Make sure to have toiletries and toilet paper (1 roll was provided) along with fly swatter. Sweet place full of history.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage immensely. It is right in the middle of the Normandy beaches, convenient for any history buff, and mere steps from the beach, restaurants, and other fun activities. We look forward to coming again!

Terrific place. Host was very helpful, the house was clean and well furnished. Location and view was absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you for making our vacation perfect

Très belle maison en parfait état, avec tous conforts (spacieuse et bien équipé). Face à la mer, vue fantastique, et situation calme grace au grand terrain fermé. A proximité des lieux historiques, musées et monuments. Encore mieux que sur les photos.

We were a family of 4 and a dog, and we loved to sit at the kitchen table looking out of the big windows with a great view over the beach with the changes in tide. We liked the house very much, and did not need anything that was not present. We also liked the history of the place, which is very present in the house and in the area.

The location is one of the best in the area and the view from the front room are beautiful. I was very surprise to get and email at the last minute asking if we wanted towels and bed sheets and pillow cases. I have been using VRBO for as long as I can remember, and never have towels and sheets been optional. I sent an email that we did want them. We arrived in the late afternoon after driving from Paris to find the sheets and pillow cases folded on top of the beds. This rental reminded me of camping. So, be aware that there will be an extra charge per person for sheets and towels, as well as a cleaning fee, unless you want to clean the place yourself. There are NO amenities. Bring your own shower soap because you will not find one in the place. The blankets we found folded on the top bunk were frayed and looked quite used and not so clean. Morena Chatham

I stayed with two friends at Finn Haus and loved it. The home is spacious and well maintained. Be aware that the town closes down pretty early. Nothing was open after 9:00 pm. The Cocci grocery was a great place for supplies, affordable wine, and fresh bakery. It is just a mile or two away.
